imageToday we had the Drappier family from Urville, FRANCE! I’ll just say right off the bat, we didn’t catch fish, but sometimes a lot more goes on than just hooking up. In this case, this family is leaving on the red eye flight tonight and basically wanted to spend their last “Hawaii” hours on the water. It ended up being extremely educating for me as this family owns a champagne vineyard!! We talked all about how champagne is made. Very interesting. Now thanks to Charline Drappier, maker of some of the finest champagne on the planet, I’m craving a nice chilled glass! Great time today with a fabulous family.

Aloha and God Bless

imageWhat an awesome day we had today with Michael and Diane Moskowitz. I met them originally on Tuesdays share boat. They had such a great time they ended up coming back out for a private trip today. We decided to go to Capt Cook’s monument in Kealekekua for some snorkeling. Diane was absolutely in love with the bay. We had a hard time getting her back on the boat! While trolling back to the harbor we hooked up to the elusive short nosed spearfish. Michael fought it to the boat where we chose to release it back. Its a pretty rare fish, so that was great.                    We had such a fun day and I am sure I will be seeing them again real soon. Michael is a very unique man and I am so happy to have forged a friendship with he and Diane.  Also they are enjoying there 16th wedding anniversary.

Aloha and God Bless.

imageToday we had multiple trips. First we had the Stroever family from New Jersey. All Dad wanted to catch was an Ono. Funny thing, when we hooked up to one son Tim jumped in the chair for the fight. Sorry Dad!!  I’m sure he got over it after enjoying eating it for lunch!                                                                                                                                                                       Our next trip we had the Hall family from Buffalo, New York. Great family. We hooked up to a Pacific Blue Marlin that ultimately pulled hook. Hopefully they will try again as little Zachary really wants to catch a fish.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        Aloha and God Bless

imageToday was double halves. We were supposed to go snorkeling on our am trip. but unfortunately our clients got sick. But we all had a great time in spite of it!                                                                                                                   Our second trip we had honeymooners, Mr. and Mrs. Flanagan from Philadelphia. What a lot of fun they were. Mrs. Flanagan hooked up to a Pacific Blue Marlin, awesome for her!
